Heleena Theodore is a UK based Gujarati, Indian artist who specialises in traditional Indian miniatures and South Asian folk art.

Formerly "Heleena Tattoos", she started her career as an artist at 19 in the tattoo industry as one of the first South Asian women tattoo artists in the UK. Heleena created work that was heavily influenced by her Desi heritage and her designs helped her clients honour their culture on their skin and in their homes.

Since stepping away from tattooing in 2024 Heleena has shifted her focus to teaching herself the art of miniature painting. She has since created an abundance of works from miniatures in gouache, larger paintings in acrylic paint and interior transformations in the rooms of her home.

Heleena's work aims to bridge the worlds between traditional South Asian art and contemporary themes. Exploring mythology, erotica and in a nutshell representing Desi baddies. Her work dances with taboos, embraces sensuality and brings to life an enchanting world of sexy creatures and powerful feminine energy.
